Sequel to the complaints we received particularly from some of our religious bodies and genuine concerns by other important stakeholders about the date of our anticipated Dinner, we hereby officially announce its immediate postponement.

The new details are as follows:
Date: Saturday, 1st April, 2017.                
Time: 19:00.                                            Venue: Yakurr Local Government Guest House.
Dress Code: Touch of red.

Furthermore, we are glad to inform you that online voting for the awards will start on or before Thursday 23rd, March, 2017. Interested persons should forward their names to their CDS Presidents on or before Wednesday, 22nd March, 2017. The categories to contest for are as follows:

EDUCATION CDS GROUP EDUCATES HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Education CDS group in Ekori town carried out their sensitisation Programme with secondary school students. The sensitisation which took place on Thursday, 23rd March, 2017 was a seminar on educational career at Eko Inika Technical College, Ekori. The speakers for the day led by the group’s President, Babalola Oluwafemi, spoke on topics varying from future ambition to the nitty-gritty of the admission process. Apart from Okoro Jonathan, Tay Racheal and Okeke Collins who were the other speakers for the day, others present at the seminar were the students of the school, some of their teachers and other members of the CDS group.
