EPISTOLARY STATEMENT BY THE 'DINNER' TO CORPS MEMBERS IN YAKURR LGA

Congratulatory greetings to all Corps members in Yakurr LGA particularly to the seniors in khaki leaving soon. Heartfelt and sincere greetings to the special and lovely Corps members who participated in me at the prestigious LGA Guest House on Saturday, April 1st, 2017.

Words cannot express my joy, nay, ecstasy because I was brought to the Local Government and probably the state to make history. In so many years that your scheme started, I, instead of those disrespectful 'send off parties,' was deservedly brought to you for the first time and in style. I must confess that the glamour you people brought to me that night was off the hook  and, in fact, to my consternation. You guys are wonderful and you made me so too.

According to the host president, LAWAL Temitayo A. (S.A.L.T.), my august visit is to be expected every year because every president of the group will be charged to do so. It's indeed a legacy for him, his group and all Batch A 2016 corps members.

I must however unequivocally aver that I'll keep improving every time I come to you. My brother, awards, couldn't unavoidably come with me but he sent his representative. He's therefore given his words that he will be presented during Passing Out Programme, our popular and respected uncle. That's reassuring, init?!

He talked to me and particularly loved the innovation of online voting for the nominated categories. He even cherished more, the effort of the host group to make the process credible and fair for the sake of posterity but perfection belongs to God. I can however beat my chest with certitude that they'll improve.

I can't thank you enough even if I belabour it a million times. I know Batch B 2016 Corps members are already champing at the bit to bring me here again. Until then, I urge you to stay safe and contribute to the progress of your great country.

EDUCATION CDS GROUP EDUCATES HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Education CDS group in Ekori town carried out their sensitisation Programme with secondary school students. The sensitisation which took place on Thursday, 23rd March, 2017 was a seminar on educational career at Eko Inika Technical College, Ekori. The speakers for the day led by the group’s President, Babalola Oluwafemi, spoke on topics varying from future ambition to the nitty-gritty of the admission process. Apart from Okoro Jonathan, Tay Racheal and Okeke Collins who were the other speakers for the day, others present at the seminar were the students of the school, some of their teachers and other members of the CDS group.
